The wierdest thing just happened. I saw your Q when there were zero answers. I started to type one. I paused to check your profile. When I tried to come back to my answer, it had been dumped or something.
When I tried to go back to your Q I had to do a search to find it. When I got back there were 19 , i think, answers!
Did you know that a person who has completely evolved their soul, and is totally aware of what the Universe is actually composed of , attains with that state Pure Existence which is totally in the Now?
Your desire to live in the now and not care about the whys and wherefores is a reflection of what is not only possible, but is inevitable for you in your future.
Enjoy the trip! To bad there are no shortcuts. The irony is that to get there you DO have to care about the whys and wherefores. And here's the best thing that can be said to launch you, or anyone, on their way.
Everything! is Only! a Clue! (one cap and an exclamation mark is how I aviod all caps. nuk nuk.)
Here is another bit that's important. God exists.
And - without your body- You exist.
Here's another piece of irony. First, I like people who are funny/serious, have an open, and reasoning mind, like discussions, not arguments, etc.
Now the irony- The people who vehemently (that word is important. people who just say "no way" are ok. it's the one's who Attack! you for even allowing that idea to exist, who are bad news) are souls who have commited serious crimes of the soul in the past and are Desperate to hide.
wait. Now the irony. The people who are vehement, are actually aware that they are souls, that everybody is.
'nuff for now
All the best to all,
Love,
Martin Bono

Josef Menglere was a scientist and performed genetic experiments on live human beings. God was also a scientist and performed open surgery on Adam. Although he put him to sleep first, the two are indistinguishable for experimenting with live, human bait. As man became conscious of his surroundings, he became aware of the stars. he began to predict phases of the moon, the summer and winter solstices, before moving on and developing the calendar. In the mean time, he began sacrificing fellow humans as a reward to a so called super being in the sky. This lead to religious conflict as more men reverted to their own religious bias. The creationist created the creator, and the being from the sky is our soul. For it is the stars that gave life in their death. We are all made up of the same chemical compounds from outer space. That's why we look skyward in the hope we one day we know we will return.

Because we can learn what worked and what didn't and try not to do the things that didn't work before, again. Because the study of almost anything can lead to knowledge useful to mankind. For instance, the idea of evolution led to the study of DNA.
As to your other question: Darwin was a devoutly religious man. He never thought his theory was the antithesis of God. He was simply trying to describe the process. Unfortunately, the clergy and literalists felt threatened by it. They needed and still need to believe the world was created exactly as the Bible, Torah, Koran, etc. relates. It keeps their own world and lives in order to believe that way. They feel they know their place in the universe that way. So they fight on....

Give you an example.
Suppose you're trying to understand how it is that we're having to deal with a new virus called HIV these last couple of decades. (There are two or three such questions on "STDs" and "Infectious Diseases" most days on Yahoo).
If you use evolution as your model for understanding how viruses come about, you will draw quite different conclusions from if you assume everything is created in unchanging form. Evolutionary theory helps us to understand what happened, and importantly gives us some clues about how to stop such epidemics happening again. "Creation" hypotheses have delivered us wild goose chases, paranoid conspiracy theories, and the stigmatisation of suffering people.
An evolutionary mindset is also useful if you're trying to work out how to deal with the problem too - for example, the standard drug treatment for HIV is based on a strategy to head off the virus's tendency to evolve under the pressure of antiviral drugs. Creation type theories have contributes nothing to the solution.

well to explain why all caps, is rude. I have a friend who is deaf, and when i first started texting him, i used all caps. He explained to me, that All Caps, represent yelling.
Evolution is the unexplained. The things thats scientist can't figure out, so they named the unexplained, evelution. To ask a intelligent question like that. you need to be open to a answer that makes perfect sence, otherwise ppl will tell you mumbo jumbo.....explaination.....just as a child need a caretaker, don't you think that, with all the humans, plants and animals, that somebody has to look after everything? we aren't just running wild and alone, there is a higher devinity, that has everything under control. his name is god (jehova). you can't see him, and thats true, but you also can't see the Radio Waves, moving through the air and all around you head, but you know that they are there.

You're not seriously proposing that we all stop wondering how it all happened, surely? Such issues, and the struggle to discover the answers, are the very purpose of existence for many.
Even if you ignore the possible lessons for the future that may flow from discovery of origins.
And yes, CAPS ARE RUDE. I whispered that in my head, but I bet you read it as a shout.

Know what you mean. I think. Kinda find myself thinking who cares where we came from, who cares about the past it's now that really matters. I don't know I kinda see myself as being religious but on the other hand I don't. I believe in god but in evolution aswell.

the "whys and wherefores" are of the utmost importance. i find it quite interesting that you do not care.
it is true, we are here and that's the most important thing. but, it would be somewhat anti-intellectual to not look for purpose in a universe filled with chaos.
it is quite important, just not to you.

Capitalization is useful for reading. It gives emphasis on the start of sentences and proper nouns. That is the whys and wherefores of capitalization.

What's to say that the two are mutually exclusive. By that I mean how do you know that evolution wasn't directed by God. I don't actually believe this though.
