With regard to any other "Message" that may come after Christianity? Does the Bible say It's the final book? Support your answer with verses please.

I can't remember the verse but Jesus says there will be prophets after Him but there will be many false ones.

The bible does NOT say it is the final book, because there was no bible when Jesus was alive. Even after He died there was no bible...there were books. It was in the 4th century when the bible, as we know it, was put together by a Pope.

----------------

Fundamentalists...it is a coincidence because it was put together that way by the Pope...it wasn't the last Chronologically written in time, and there are many other gospels(like the gospel of Mary, Judas, etc.) that weren't included.

Jude 3 speaks of “the faith once for all delivered to the saints” which suggests that the Bible is the complete and final revelation to man.

The final words of the last book of the NT (Rev 22:18-19, warns about adding anything to or taking anything away from God's words in the Bible, which sounds like everything that needs to be said has been said!

Last but not least, the Bible warned us about false prophets and even fake Christs who would come along later and we are told not to listen to anyone who preaches a different Gospel or a different Jesus, not even if it's an angel who delivers the new message. Anyone who is contacted by a spirit is commanded to test the spirit to see if it's message is biblical, all of which sounds like the Bible is the complete and final authority.

It's interesting that the much later revelations of Islam and Mormonism were delivered by spirits or angels just like the Bible warned about and it would be interesting to compare them to the Bible to see if:

1. they are adding anything new to it (or taking anything away),

2. if their God is exactly the same as the God of the Bible,

3. if their Jesus is the exact same Jesus as in the Bible,

4. if their Gospel is the same Gospel and

5. if their plan for salvation is the same plan of salvation.

in John 16 (6-11) there is a comforter to come after Jesus, (in Greek called the PARACLETOS meaning the Holy Spirit) and he was to live with the Disciples and guide them so this is not a human prophet - it is the Holy Spirit.

Muhammad could not be the Paracletos because he wasn't born until over 500 years later - following the deaths of these disciples and Joseph Smith does not qualify for similar reasons.

Daniel 12:4 "And as for you O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant."

But given the context of these words I am inclined to believe that the reference to the time of the end is not pre-armageddon, but post-armageddon

Daniel 12:9 And he went on to say: "Go Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of the end."

So this speaks of an inspired Book of Prophesy, and deep things of God that was written by Daniel, and Sealed Up, and Made Secret. A Secret kept so by God, so I am sure that when the time is right he will reveal his secret, but once again this is a hole that many false prophets will use to lead a flock astray for themselves (Acts 20:29) And looking at some of the previous answers you recieved I would have to note that there are quite a few warnings to not add to or remove from the Word. Including Do not Go Beyond That Which is Written ... there are many warnings not to stray from "true" worship of the Only True God, the problem is men seem often incapable of keeping pure, pure by mixing in "what sounds fun" with what they are taught is right. God is very exacting, and Satan deceptive... amazing that he (Satan) doesn't care what you do as long as it is not follow the one true God. He leaves just enough hatred in his world so that all Christian faiths can feel "tested", and he provides enough "relief" that they can be "sure" of their hope, but in the end it is all corruptions of What God set forth.

In the Old Testament God used his name, not a title like Lord, or Most High, but a name symbolized by the Tetragrammaton that based on pronunciation can be translated YHWH or JHVH (Yahweh or Jehovah) a name that means "He Causes to Become" why did Satan not mind leaving his title intact, but went to great lengths to try to obscure the name of the Universal Sovriegn. For the record, the name Jehovah was used some 7000 times in the Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures).

On the contrary in John 16 (6-11), makes it clear that the Messenger is coming after the departure of Jesus.

It says in Revelation chapter 22, that a person is cursed if they add to or take away from 'this book of prophecy.'

One could say that this only applies to the book of Revelation, but it is surely no coincidence that this is among the last verses of the Bible itself.

Yes, it is the last and most correct one, believe it like that.
At least for me better than the other books for other religions.

May God bless!
