First of all, I think you mean retarded, not retarted. :) Anyways, you're right, it is pretty retarded. I mean, it's ok for us to be alone with drivers but we can't drive ourselves?! It's irritating and frustrating to have to be dependant on a guy (father, brother, husband, driver) just to go out. And honestly, don't they realize that if women were allowed to drive, the accident rate would decrease. Everyone knows that men always have higher insurance than women cuz they drive more dangerously. No offence to the guys out there but it's true. Sure, everyone would be really excited at first, seeing women driving but eventually, people would calm down and it would become a way of life.

It's not retarded, I am Saudi and I don't want to drive, I like the idea of having a driver! It's more convenient and i don't have to worry about being alone in the car in case I get in an accident or something. Plus, women in Saudi Arabia have rights and are respected. Come see for yourself, and don't judge something you know nothing about !

Yeah it isn't right. They should be allowed to drive already, but they didn't really speak up until say 5-6 yrs before? so I guess you'll see it happening sometime soon now that the issue has been raised & discussed.
& to the person who thinks women are like slaves here. They're not actually.

ok compare that with each woman has her own driver and made and they stay like queen they don't have to work or do anything men do all the work and even if she wanted to work she save all the money she dosen't pay not even a penny for the house woman here have the best life any woman in the world wish to have it by the way all the people in the world that i meet they are always saying you are very lucky because you don't have to deal with woman driving in your streets

Well unlike other american countrys saudi arabia is respectful and respects women and womem are our dignity and pride.
So if we let them drive like americans ... they will become raped and turn into dirty girls like ALL normal americans.
You think of a women as a girl on the bottom you just work on her makes you feel good and all that.

Your country has too much problems for you to care about saudi arabia.

Women over there are nothing but a punching bag a slave a obedient sex toy for her husband to do with as he see fit. He can beat her to death if she doesn't do what he ask of her.How retarded is that. A female has no rights but yet you see them all covered up in 130 degree heat walking behind their husbands not saying a word.They just go along with it like it's no big deal to be treated that way. I'm talking about the older women,i think they are so use to it they think that's the way women should be treated.
