I like the idea of doing something from a romantic movie except not the dirty dancing one which has been done to death. Any suggestions?? or just a unique funky dance will be helpful

I would like one that has a unique choreography as well, not the traditional boring bridal waltz.

i agree dirty-dancing has been done to death. and you don't really want funky. you want something that will be remembered for its grace and beauty.
why don't you and your fiance take ballroom dancing lessons? you don't need to take a lot of lessons, just enough that the two of you could actually 'waltz'. not the slow dancing that all of us do now, but a real waltz like you see in the ballroom dancing championships on the telly.
it is truly a beautiful dance, as well as elegant, not tacky, not done to death, just grace and beauty.
that would really impress your guests, and the two of you would have something to be proud of and brag about for years to come!
when your kids watch your wedding video they will still be impressed because the waltz never goes out of style.
try it!
good luck and let us know what you decide to do, ok?

Check out YouTube for some ideas. Type in "wedding dance" and see what comes up. There is one party doing Thriller, another Footloose and another Dirty Dancing. But there are tons more that may give you some good ideas.
Check into dance lessons in your area. A fun salsa dance or tango would be cool too. But, most of these dance teachers would be willing to find you something different to learn if you specifically requested it and of course are willing to pay the extra cash.
Good luck and have fun!

mmm, maybe something out of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies (a simulation of course) you could have the eery music and do a symbolic dance. You could use red streamers to simulate the blood etc. This would be very unique.

Do something from Grease. There are a bunch of choreographed numbers in there. Summer nights? Is your hubby up for a choreographed number though? I'm lucky I got mine to dance. I'm sure John Travolta has done some sort of dance number in one of his movies that could work. Pulp Fiction?

When my friends got married, they did a swing dance because they loved to swing dance. It was really cute to see them swing dance!
