Dude, why the hell would you want to steal a handicapped sign? That's stupid and there are much better signs out there to steal anyway. Just don't steal any stop or yield signs, or any signs that could cause an accident. Better yet, just don't steal any signs at all, it's pointless and dumb.
You could be charged with petty theft, endangering the public, and get a fine of about $200.
If you steal a sign that leads to someone getting in a serious car accident, where someone is killed- You could be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

I think it depends on the State, but About $500-1500 fine and/or 30 jail time. Plus a eon in hell for stealing something away from the handicap, you sicko. For real steal something noteworthy, like a McDonald's sign.

Why would you steal one of those? I mean, what's the point, it doesn't even look cool... Why not go steal the stop sign in front of your local police department in broad daylight and tell us what happens?

Its up to the judge in most states,what you will be fined or how much time! But I hope a blind man beats you with his cane,then a women in a wheelchair runs you over with her chair! Oh yeah and I hope the blind man has a driver....

You will need to check with the local authorities on that one but don't them if you were the one that did it, haha. They have caller ID. Every state has its own laws on all crimes.
