i have just looked at all my old passports and all of them have a new number , so i will say yes to your question .

Of course it will change. Every time you renew a passport, the number changes. Even a replacement passport will have a different number.

Passports has different numbers and when you renew your passport, the number will change.

I know some1 from the DFA, and I can assure that all the passports (every single one of them) that DFA issues have their unique numbers in them.
