two reasons she may have said this; ... one being maybe she cant get over the fact that you would like her, she may be insecure about herself OR ... she might really like you as a 'mate' and wouldnt want to ruin her friendship with you!

Either she feels you are not serious in which you need to enforce your feelings with demonstrantions of romance an the whole 9 yrds OR she might truly belive you dont like her. Beef up the romance dude.

she prolly wants u to just keep telling her that, because it makes her feel better and stuff. like the way girls always say that they look ugly or fat so that u will tell them that they arent.
