in God?

Hmm. To my first two responders that would be... His existence-yes? The one sort of implies its own neccessity for the other-would it not? I know people who believe He exists, they just don't "believe" in Him. Get it?

Believe in the New Testament Greek is commonly pisteo, pistis, or pisteuo. Basically it's trust. Which is more than just belief, but it still can mean belief.

Trust is more involved. It requires action. I trust that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; just like he said. And like he said, "Whosoever believes in Him has eternal life."

I believe, and what I believe in is Him.

What's the obvious? Everyone has different reasons. believe in Him because I think He can do anything in the entire universe. And He will help you when you need it. But only if you believe in Him.

If I truly believe in God, I would agree with Him and trust His Word. I would turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Then, my actions will prove what I truly believe.

Besides what it says in the Creed, it means that I love my Lord with all my strength, soul and heart and always strive to do his bidding with humility, remembering that I am nothing without him.
