John 21:25--last verse in the book of John.

Merely makes me wonder what else Jesus did that we will never know about in this life.

NOT the favorite verse question again! Why only one, and who can only pick one? Geez!

Today, my favorite VERSE is :
Romans 7
4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

I love Romans. Paul illustrates in it the relationship between the time of the Law and those who were under it with the new Law of faith in Jesus. It reminds me that I have died to the Law; which told me about sin ans how I was guilty of violating it. And that I am born by His Spirit, and set free by Him by faith in His Truth.

Psalms 37 : 9-11
9)For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10) And just a little while longer, and the wicked one Will be no more, And you will certainly give attention to his place and he will not be. 11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth , and they will find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

I love this verse because it gives us hope for the future. And who doesn't need hope???????

I have so many..... This one first and foremost....

"Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ).

This one because it is conveying a reality that most reject, a reality that was the true essence of Y'Shua's teachings, manifesting the inner kingdom within ones self.

Now for honorable mentions...

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov 14:12 KJV).

"O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths... Therefore my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge" (Isa 3:12; 5:13 NKJ).

Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little" (Isa 28:9-10 NKJ)

"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire" (2 Pet 2:20-22 KJV).

For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).

" Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." (James 4:17 KJV).

“…tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you” (Matt 21:31 RSV)

Probably asking by now why so many honorable mentions, well because these are many quotes that people of the Orthodoxy faith turn a blind eye to.

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Why? Cause this world is a harsh mistress! And life's been tough!
