All right, I asked this question before, but apparently everyone misunderstood me.
I Live in New York City, I'm 19, and visiting my grandparents in Florida. Well, I really don't like them, because they treat me like a child, when I am legally an adult. For instance, I can't stay at home alone, because someone will break in and molest me, WTF?!!
Another problem is my boyfriend, didn't come with me. I really miss him. In my last question I said something about wanting to go to his place, at midnight, and I think most of you know what that's code for.
Don't say "just leave" I can't. These people are family, and it would be wrong to say "You're ruining my summer, and I want to go back home so that I can engage in premarital s*x." I mean wouldn't it?

#1. i'm 29, married, and my grandmother STILL treats me like i'm 4. she even admits it. THAT will never change.
#2. they are your grandparents, and it's only for the summer. you are 19. you can live without seeing your boyfriend for a few more weeks.
#3. make the most of the time, and get to know your grandparents. you never know how much longer you'll have them. believe me, you'll miss them when they're gone.

If you r being molested get out of there .... You r 19 .its time to tell your family don't you think? Be an adult if you know its wrong. . That person is gonna do it to someone eles if you do not stop the pattern!! Go to someones house you trust . work the problem out now....!! SOunds like florida is the place to be or maybe go to Ga. and start a new life .... make nw friends!! Its cheap to live in Ga.

Wow. I think you guys are way too concerned about weight and talking about people's size and worrying about how big you are. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, but I think maybe you need to talk about other things.

spend alittle time there with them and just tell them that you would love to stay longer but there are somemore things you would like to do this summer before it ends. I think as your grandparents they will understand. You are an adult you should make you own decissions, not have them made for you. But do spend alittle time with them

take control of your life if you don't want other people to run it
you know what this sounds like from most everyone elses perspective?

don't complain when you have to ask to get what you want
maybe you're not ready to make these choices on your own and maybe that's why you're here asking this question and not doing what you want to do.
My own belief is, if you cannot take care of yourself, then you aren't able to handle the responsibilities that sex involve.

What I used to do, was traveling on my own, staying at a hotel near by, and spend some time together everyday...
There were no cellphones and i was stuck to staying in my room all the time, but nowadays with cellphones it'd be heaven...LOL
You need someone on your side that can cover up for you, and you're set, girl..

Wait it out then. Boyfriend and yourself are just going to have to wait. If he didn't want to come then he choose to wait that long. They're your grandparents, let them do what they do and enjoy they're time while they are still living.

Time to grow up. If you want to be treated like an adult, act like one. Get a job and get your own place!! As long as you have to live with grandparents, you will just have to abide by the rules!!! Quit complaining and do something about it!

What are your reactions whenever they treat you like a child?
I guess that you should act more 'kiddy' whenever they tell you something. Old people hate rebellious kids... and this causes them to minimize their freedom. So... just do whatever they say and at least PRETEND to be happy. You never know, they might just make you have that surprise trip to your boyfriend's house.
