Since the Koran refers to the seven heavens, you can be absolutely certain that there are millions of people in the world who believe in it.

Seven, seventy etc. are symbolic numbers that signify eternity or plenty or many. Those who take things literally lose out on the deeper meanings, time and again.

Seven is symbolic of the repetition of the week, which has seven days in it and comes back over and over again, which is where the symbology of eternity is tied with Seven. Seventy also is a similar number, but many times it represents numbers of human beings. Thus when Moses witnessed the Light of the Most High, he had seventy men with him.

It all depends on how to read these things as the Quran says, many of the verses in it are actual and many are allegorical. No one but the Mighty One and his elect few understand all of the many meanings of these verses.

The seven skies, seven sheaths of existence of being r sharing of spiritual experiences with wordily people by those who experienced it directly.

These r sky like but not skies as we see. There seems to be contradiction in words, but that seems to be the only way to explain it. Nearly similar experiences of Worldly aspects r used to explain the non wordily experiences of spiritual worlds.

The fringe of this earth's galaxy, and collectively other galaxies, and even perhaps this universe does not even reach the inner limits of the first sky mentioned therein.

We are but weak mortal humans. It was told that one angel wanted to see the true "world" as perceived by God. To enable that, he was granted a few hundred pairs more wings to allow him to travel. He began his journey and continued flying for a few hundred years, but he could not even reach the prescribed boundary of one of the pillars that supports the "arash" (the uppermost limits of creation realm). Accordingly there a few pillars that supports the "arash".

In the end the angel repented and praised Allah's greatness and power in creating such a huge and vast realm.

Wallahualam. (Only God Knows Best).

They also believe Jesus was a true prophet...but Jesus said He was the son of God...and they don't believe that part...so what should give them any credibility.

Christians "pick and choose"(as some say) scriptures...while Muslims "pick and choose" what their prophets say...
