When my twin sister and I were born, we had a 2 percent chance of living the first 48 hours of our lives because we were four months early.. And during those 48 hours, everyone we know was praying that we woud live. And we both did. Except that my sister wasn't developed all the way and has no right arm and can't walk. But we are still grateful that we are here.

I had two daughters diagnosed with a visual impairment at ages 2 and 4. I was told by the time they were 13,.. they would be blind and only see lights going on and off. Not only was this something to pray about,.. but the fear, doubt and panic inside me grew. I could not think positive at all,.. My thoughts were paralyzed by my fear! I continuously prayed,.. and one night at church as I knelt at the altar with my fear.. asking not only for healing for my girls.. but for myself.. deliverance from the fear!
Almost immediately,.. God allowed me to see and feel peace,.. an assured feeling that whatever they went through,.. He would see them through! They were not alone! He would be there even when I couldn't! things I know in my head,.. but he told it to my heart! Today my girls are 20 and 22. One married,..and has a job,.. vision just improved enough to get her license!! And my younger,.. though vision is still very limited,.. attending college to be a teacher,..and engaged to marry a wonderful guy nexyt July! the younger cannot drive still,.. but is thankful (not bitter) for the beauty life has!
Many many other blessings,.. lost my husband to a car accident at age 39,.. for two months I battled planning suicide! He was my sweetheart since I was 14!!.. Through many praying saints, and words of love and encouragement,.. I was delivered from that desire! Knowing now that 3 1/2 yrs later,.. God does have purpose for my life and,.. when it is my time.. I will see him again!..
The list goes on and on!!.. He is an awesome God!! God bless YOU in your walk! Be encouraged! Sometimes the biggest blessings come after much sorrow!

Me! Yeah TONS of people had been praying that my mom would live through childbirth and she would have a son. I really mean it. Like everyone in U. of C. was praying for my mom. She nearly died 3 times having her kids. We nearly died to. Turns out we're all ok and happy.
Also, another thing: kindness comes back. If you're kind to people, you'll find that good things happen in your life. Serious.

i had my arm cut off. my artery was cut along with my nerves and tenants. i bled for 15 minutes. doctors say that this was impossible. but they were there when it happened. not only did i not die but i didn't even pass out. the doctors told me i should be dead, they said that nobody has survived that long with a severed artery.
but I'm alive, my hand is still recovering, after being reattached, and its been a year.
God is good

Some of the priests who molested children were blessed by god when they did not go to prison very quickly. Well, maybe it wasn't god that blessed them, maybe it was just the religious oligarchy run by other perverts that blessed them and gave them new territories upon which to prey.

Believe in yourself. You don't need a god. Life and everything that surrounds you is a beautiful thing. Stop letting these superstitions get the best of you. Let go of the fear.
