The bible is a true book! It's made with paper. The ink is Red & Black. Like most books the meaning that is printed inside meaningless.

The bible is true to the beleiver, its a connection to god.
The bible alone will not save anyone but
accepting the living god into your life is what its all about.
The bible gives these directions.
Why would anyone accept what they cant see, because what they cant see is doing the saving and the revealing of the truth
through scripture.
Ask yourself what good would the bible be if there was no god at all to convict the person to take enough interest to read it in the first place?
No one can prove it isnt 100% true, but they can test it by living it and seeing the results that faith stands till this day ever since it was written.

Some scriptures in the bible have been rewritten and changed around so it's not 100% accurate. I wouldn't say not true because you can't discredit something that has been around for centuries and many historical facts are present in the bible that is very very very old. There might be some mistranslation but thats only due to man's faultiness. I can honestly say that the Holy Bible is a book of wisdom, philosophy and teachings and if you don't believe it 100% I'd still suggest you read it because the Bible is truly a book of faith about believing what you cannot see.

Well if you believe in god it is very easy to believe in the bible so it would be easier to convince you to believe in god. But it is not 100% literally true, but it is true.
Well, how did the universe come about. There is an easy explanation for that and that is that god created it. Everything is a bit uncertain about the other explanations, and there are holes in the theories, which are also hard to understand, but if you assume God created the world, it does make sense, and people who are mentally handicapped can understand it. The bible pretty much explains many things in early history; how the world is created, how rainbows were created etc.
I'll think of some more later but I personally am so sure god exists that it is hard to think of reasons why not and therefore to be able to counter them. And I hate how atheists say people believe in God because they aren't thinking straight, well I found God on my own and I have an iq of 187. and plus there are like a million people who believe the bible is true so they can't all be wrong.

Jesus was crucified which caused his death to fullfill the prophecy in saving the sins of mankind from sinning against God because many people at time have forgotten God and they do not know that they are committing sins. (you are not included because you were just born yesterday) . I know it because I have read the bible and have understrood the bible very well.(A bad man could not understand the bible and God will not allow him to understand.)
I know it because I have learned about it through the reading of the bible.
The words in the bible are the word of God written by the prophets of God and with the inspiration of God, however some of the verses in the bible are the words of satan when they were talking with God a bout what the satan is requestring to God.
It is the word of God because all the things written their are Godly in nature. It is all about good deeds..
In everything that is being done in this world, there is always the basis in believing and our belief to God is the B ible but you non believers of God has no basis. You can not prove your idea that there is no God because you ano basis to prove it.
The scientist has his basis in believing his knowlledge ab out his work ,the work of science.
Will you then give your basis in not believing God. I believe it is in your thoughts only but in your heart you believe that there is God Your thoughts and your heart are fighting together what to believe and that is the mean reason why you are insisting to ask question about God. Your heart is dictating you to ask it b ut your thought denies it.

The Bible is a compilation of books and letters written to Believers. That's not to say non believers cannot read and study it, but it's not a book primarily designed to convert a non believer, but to teach and admonish the believer. Paul's letters are a good example of this..he wrote to churches that were new/established to correct/support them in their belief/teachings.
Even the language of the OT demonstrates to the reader that the writer already assumes God is real...the first lines of Genesis a perfect example..."In the beginning GOD.." there is no second guessing, they believe God was real, no need to try and convince the reader - that is NOT the purpose. The writer assumes the reader is a believer.
No one can convince you the bible is 100% true, you either believe it or you don't...it's that simple.

3 religions in this world prove the bible is true 100% Every religion in the world all point to one man... Noah and the flood any religion that doesnt know about the flood is a made up cult after the fact.
The 3 main religions that prove the Bible are Islaam, Jewish, and Christians which are all told about in the bible. All 3 originate from Abraham, Ishmael or Ismail however you wish to spell that, Isaac, Esau, and Jacob

You ask the impossible, for the Bible is the means by which God has revealed Himself to us (His creation), and without it, it is not possible for our limited, finite human understanding to even BEGIN to know Him.
There are things which are impossible to do, even for God. It is impossible to have a married bachelor, or a two-sided triangle. Just because you can string words together doesn't make something possible.
Without the Word of God, and without the faith we have in that Word, it truly is impossible to convince you or anyone that the Bible is 100% true.
But that doesn't make our faith any less true, nor make believers any less to be respected (afterall, you wish us to respect atheists, right? Can we not ask for the same respect of you?).
As for converting people, converting does not come from "without"... it comes from "within." Nothing another person says or does can convert any other person. It is only from within that person can that person be converted. No amount of Bible quoting will change a person's heart unless that person's heart desires to be changed.
Now... IF that person's heart desires to BE changed, then it doesn't matter (again) how many Bible verses are quoted to that person... they are converted.. by FAITH.
Oh... there's that "round robin" thingie again! Oh well... we DO keep bumping into that one over and over again! And since we have... it doesn't need to be continued for this question.
Thanks for asking, and have a blessed day!

You have presented an example of someone trying to convert someone else. I agree that it is ridiculous to simply knock on a door and start in with that kind of conversation.
No one can convince you of anything you don't want to believe. We are all on our own with this one. If you, or anyone, is interested in knowing how I know God is God, ask me. But I will not debate anything with someone who refuses to hear or except what I believe, or think, as legitimate .
How can you convince me that what the Bible says is not true? You can't.
Your questions are trying to convert me. Why? What do you have to gain? What do I have to gain? Nothing. Let us agree to disagree. OK? Now you can go to another category and help people who have questions about subjects you know something about.

Unless you are willing to open your heart and have faith and believe in something that you cannot see alot of the time no one can convince you that the bible and what it says is true. I can tell you that i was once very skeptical and very confused due to so many different beliefs cause who knows which religion is right. And the fact is that I don't but I do know that I was at the lowest point in my life and I ask God to come into my life and to forgive me of my sins. The first thing I prayed for was peace in my life, immediately the hole in my heart was repaired. I had lost a child and could not get over it. It was affecting me to the point to where I did not want to live anymore. I prayed for financial help and doors began to open. I got checks in the mail where I had over payed people and it was not just one check. Something told me to call the bank and try to refinance a veh I had at the time. I did and it saved me over a 150.00 a month. To me there was no way all that was a coincidence.
How do I personally know that Gods word is true? Because I feel it in my heart and I have faith. He has answered my prayers so many times.

All of the Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled to date has been 100% accurate.
And you are correct to an extent - Believing the Bible is a matter of informed faith. You either believe the testimony of Jesus Christ regard the Word of God or you don't.
I challenge you to research this:
There is bibliographic evidence, no other ancient writings have as much manuscript evidence as does the Bible. (one example is the Dead Sea Scrolls)
There is internal evidence there were many different writers who wrote over a long time span there are no contradictions in what they wrote.
There is external evidence. When the Bible speaks on matters of history or science it speaks accurately.
Read it for yourself, do the research.
