In need of some help!?

Question

While researching the Hartman family, there are a few people I can't find anything on. Please see if you have any luck! All of these people are siblings, and are the children of August(e) and Mary (Marie) Hartman who were born in Alsace-Lorraine, France. So it may say France, Germany, or Alsace-Lorraine as a birthplace for some of these people, I'll just say Alsace-Lorraine.


Adolph (also have seen Adolf) Hartman born 1890 in Buffalo, New York.

Nicolaus Hartman, born in 1894 in Buffalo, New York. He's not on the 1910 census so maybe he died?

Andrew/André Hartman, born in 1881.
Joseph Hartman, born in 1888 in Alsace-Lorraine.

Also, I have the 1900 and 1910 census for them, so you don't have to tell me about them... but if you do somehow find where in Alsace-Lorraine they came from or have tips for me please let me know!!!!

I guess it is possible to be him. I only mentioned a few names because those are the ones I don't know much about. I know about the others I didn't mention. The father is not on the 1910 census and the mother, Mary is listed as the head of household and as a widow so August Hartman the father died between 1901 and 1910. So that guy isn't him. Thanks so much though. That could be Adoph.

I found the following on www.familysearch.org. Could this possibly be August's father--b. 1846 ?? The census above said August Hartman was 44 in 1910 (which made him born in 1866. Genealogists consider a generation to average 20 years (which this Augusto....would have been in 1866, and he was born in France):
