"No" is the simple answer, but that doesn't quite cover it.

Some people have a lazy eye with no turn or or other external anomaly, so you'd never know.
(I've even had adults who have never realised they were only using one eye, which made their first eye exam a bit of a shock!)

Many people with squints do have amblyopia (lazy eye) in the eye which is out of line. So there it would be a reasonable guess, but...
...some people with squints, especially where the eyes diverge, do not have a lazy eye and can use either eye alternately. The eye not immediately being employed is "suppressed", not "lazy", in such cases.

So you can guess, but you can't know for sure.

Well I have lazy eyes but I got them corrected with an operation know as a squint when I was a toddler.

They are not as noticable now but every now and then my right eye turns inwards if i have been sitting on the computer for a long period.

It can be noticable because the eyes dont look stright forward. One can be a little out another can be turn right in. I also have a younger cousin whose eye is rolled upwards a little. He wears glasses to help correct it.

It depends on the severity of the lazy eye. My lazy eye was so unapparent that it almost went unnoticed (I'm glad it was caught, or else I would have lost the ability to see well in that eye!).

Also, if you get a lazy eye from differing prescriptions in the eyes, like I did, you probably won't notice the lazy eye since it won't be as severe.

Yes, Well. It all depends on how bad your eye is, I inherited a lazy eye from my dad and It was so bad I had surgery on it at 2 years old. It reverted and was made fun of growing up and had surgery to correct it again at 14. My eye still floats but not as bad, so depending on how bad it is, YES people can notice. they said it looked like I wan't looking at them even though I was.

I have lazy eye. It's pretty noticable by myself...ot sure if other people can notice. Normally, people wont say anything because they dont want to hurt your feelings.

Nope. You can only detect a lazy eye after performing the necessary tests.
