My wife can't boil water... that is not why I am with her. She feeds me in all kinds of ways... it is not 1950 anymore, there is no reason that a woman should not expect her man to know his way around the kitchen... When it is my wife's "turn" to cook, we go out... it is a win/win for me.

Some women are better off NOT cooking.
Some do their best but burn water, let alone a succulent pot roast!
Some men are better cooks than women.
I look at a woman who does not cook as a woman who has lost or been ripped off from the pleasure of feeding others. Over the past century, women, core of the home, mistress of culinary delights, have been pushed out of the kitchen.
As a result, most girls today do not even know how to bake. They buy this premade crap. But heck, that is freedom... gag.I figure you don' t like to cook that is your choice but it is a sad one because there is pleasure in feeding an appreciative family.
In the long run, I think the same of a woman who does not like to cook as I do of a man who does not like football! Walking to a different drummer.

I wonder why they don't like to cook. It's fun! How could they not like it? But they should learn how to cook a few simple dishes, since you can't serve your guests microwaved food or takeout on a special occasion.

well,i have a different one - some can but don't like to,and some do not know how. i think that if their mother or grandmother wouldve showed them how to cook,and let them help - then they would see the goodness in it and enjoy it,as i do. if you know how,and just prefer not to - well,sometimes we all get tired etc - but i feel a woman should prepare meals for her family. unless the man prefers to do it,but - i wouldn't want that,i like to do it.

I feel a woman should know how to cook. If not, it's going to be like driving a car with no a/c through death valley when you actually live together.

I'm ok with them. I'm one of them. I think all adults should have reasonable knowledge of how to cook. It's a basic skill for life.

well to be honest thats something not good.coz women are expected to be a homemaker.but there are women who doesnt really cook...but u can teach them, and they can learn as well.
