I have vip tickets to see justin timberlake on wed. When I get off the train, is it easy to find your way to the garden?? this will be my first concert there. Also, if I get there around 7ish, do I wait in a line?? And will there be someone there to show me where to sit? because I'm not sure where my section is. thanks : )

The train that takes you to Madison Square Garden (not sure of the train # off hand, but go to the MTA website and look at the map) is underground - once you get off the train follow the posted signs for Madison Square Garden and they will lead you right to the stadium. I'm sure you will be able to follow the crowds of Timberlake fans - you will be able to tell who they are.

Whether or not you will have to wait in line depends on when they open the doors, and when the concert starts. Assuming it starts around 8, they probably will be letting people in. There are guards posted to point you in the right direction to your section and seats, just look for the uniforms. Enjoy!

When you get off the train, the numerous signs in the area will help you find Madison Square Garden.

Actually, there's not as much signage for the Garden within Penn Station as there could be, but just find an exit to the street, do a 360, and somewhere in there, you'll see a huge, round building. Can't miss it. I'm just not sure of what entrance you'll be using, as a VIP ticket holder. Does it say that anywhere on your ticket?

As for waiting in line, I'm really not sure, there's a chance of it. I've never actually been there as a ticket-holder, only as media. But as media for some sporting events, I've had to wait in a little bit of a line to get in, for security check and all of that stuff.

There should be numerous ushers there. For VIP tickets, I'm almost sure of it. The Garden is a great building.

Enjoy the show!

Best place to stay is the Red Roof Inn on W.32nd between Broadway and Fifth Avenue. It's on the Korea Town street, meaning 24 hour bars, restaurant - great scene. Plus it's about one avenue away from MSG and 1 block from Herald Square subway. At about $150 a night, you can not find a better hotel in a better location for a better rate. The rooms have been recently renovated and so you get the flat-panel tv, new bathrooms, and free (albeit basic) continental breakfast. The Penn is a dump, stay away....

It depends what train your taking. If you're taking the A,C,E,1,2,or 3 trains it'll leave you basicly there. When you get off of the train you'll see the garden. Also you can take the B, D, F, N, Q, R and they will leave you about a block away. Usually with V.I.P tickets, you get the privilage of skipping the line, and once you get in, you can just show one of the employees you ticket and they will show you where you need to go to sit,

If you're taking the LIRR just go upstairs. If you taking the subway get off at 34th Street. Most likely your tickets are floor seats. They are plenty of ushers working at the garden to help you find you seating location. Get there about 7 and yes, you are most likely going to have to wait in line unless you go backstage.
