I am thinking of getting a digital camera that comes with a 1 GB SD card for $110. I was wondering if its a good deal and also how many pictures i could take using the 1 GB SD card. For example a 4"x6" picture...about how much space would that use on the card. Here is the link to the camera-

First of all, 1gb can take a lot of pictures even at the highest quality. You could get a zillion of 4x6 quality but I would reccommend taking higher quality pics to begin with as you can always downsize them to email. I backup my pics to a cd in which case you could take weeks of pics that would fit on one 10 cent cd, so I encourage you don't skimp on the quality.

As for the camera, sorry, I'm not a Kodak fan. Some people like them, but I prefer a Canon, Sony or Fuji better. Try looking at the Fujifilm fd40 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830122100.

That camera has 6.1 megapixels. You should always use the highest quality/resolution available, which is 6.1MP (it's the default).
You should easily be able to shoot about 500 photos with a 1GB card, less if you also shoot some video.
