I reckon I've been consistently happier than most Theists BECAUSE I'm logical; I know there's no InvisibleSkyPixie watching everything I say, think and do, 24/7 and whispering in my ear that I'd better love, worship and SUCK up to him 24/7 or he'll send me to hell for eternity.
I don't feel Paranoid at all; I am completely free.
WHY do you think that my being logical and responsible for everything I say, think and do would bring me misery?
Sure, life isn't smooth sailing all the time but who on earth would want or expect it to be in the chaos in which we live?
How would I know or appreciate Happiness and Joy if I've never been down.
At any moment the earth could be struck by an asteroid ‘they’ didn’t think it was worth warning us about or just didn’t see. At any moment the earth could open up and swallow me. At any moment a madman could threaten me with violence. At any moment whilst driving within the law in my car, a madman could cause me injury.
There is no place on this planet that is safe, absolutely; No InvisibleSkyGuy or even TheKid can keep you safe from everything in this chaotic world … and if you do think ‘the lord’ keeps you safe you’re a fool.
Softly, softly catchee monkey.
Walk softly and carry a big stick.
Don’t wake the monkeys; they’ll scare the horses.
It is only luck and good judgement that’ll keep you safe and even then, sometimes, it’s not enough and you die just like *snap*.
I love my logical life, my FoolishFundieFriend; I wouldn't be dead for quids.

Not always.
It depends on the circumstances.
There is certainly an illogical view of the world which attempts to avoid misery by maintaining a particular positive view, despite any evidence to the contrary. (A Panglossian approach. Lovely word.)
Does wisdom?
"While others crowd the house of mirth,
and haunt the gaudy show,
Let such as would with Wisdom dwell,
frequent the house of woe."
(From the Scottish psalter and paraphrases, 1650, 1781
The reference is to Ecclesiastes 7: 2-6)

First of all, logical is an adjective. I believe you mean logic. I'm perfectly happy.

Nope... logic goes with reason and both go with intelligence. It takes no intelligence whatsoever to believe whatever the bible tells you and to go to church every week and nod along while the preacher talks.

Logic goes with facts. Sometimes those facts are sad and sometimes they are happy but logic doesn't much care.

no, logic goes with having a brain, which i assume most humans possess.
edit: oh yeah, and logic also tells me that you're either a troll or a miserable human being.

Does that mean that you're not logical? Or are you logical AND miserable? Or are you just miserable, as your questions imply?

If you mean are we miserable because we think logically then no, I'm happier not falsely believing in something. I'm happy. :0) You seem kinda angry though, or intolerant, whichever.

No, because "logical" is an adjective, and "misery" is a noun.
