Why wouldn't this calories cutting and working out cause me to loose weight (have been doing it for about 2 weeks).

In fact, I didn't work out this weekend and gained 2lbs.

I have been eating a lot later lately (after--7pm, b/c the increase workout make me very hungry). could this be the reason for my weight gain and lack of weight loss?

Your piece reeks of desperation. You can not succeed at anything if you approach it with a sense of desperation; and that includes weight loss. So calm down and come up with a plan of action--yes, you need one that you can follow; that takes your goals into account, analyzes your food intake as well as the types of food you eat, the exercises you do , your current health,as well as a plan that you can stick with religiously. There are no quick fixes ;that is if you want something that works. Hence, my advise to you are as follows;1)consult your doctor2)if you don't have one, check the yellow pages under health; they can help you for free or for a nominal cost3) follow their recommendations.4) don't give up if you don't get quick results since it takes time. Finally, weight loss is not simply a game of numbers but a life-altering exercise.I am sure you can do it and I wish you all the luck in the world.

How old are you? What is your height and you current weight? It sounds like you have the right idea, but you might be eating too much, and even though you are burning a lot of calories you might just be balancing them out with what you take in. Try eating a little less and see if that works. Good luck =)

You have been doing this for 2 weeks and you didn't work out the last week. I think the answer is simple. You have to find a way of living with your diet and exercise and stick to it. Crash diets and trying to exercise when you don't want to will not work. Decide that you want to be healthier and live the life, until then expect to be disappointed.
On another note, you have to figure out the amount of calories your body needs. For everyone this is different and even the greatest calculators online can not get it just right. Reduce your caloric intake, hopefully by making better choices, and pay attention to how you feel and how much weight you lose each week.

Good Luck

water weight will add or remove a good amount of weight. For example you say you gained two pounds over the weekend, I can mathematically prove it wasn't due to fat. To gain a pound of fat you must consume 3500 calories more than you output, two pounds would be 7000 calories. If you did no exercise at all you probably still burn close to 2000 calories a day so that's 4000 calories burned in two days, so to have gained 2 pounds of fat you'd have to of consumed 11,000 calories in a two day period.

Also when you eat has nothing to do with weight loss it is a myth. The only thing that matters is calories in vs calories out. Something that could effect metabolism though when you eat your meals if you were to eat all of your 1500 calories in 1 meal and not eat the rest of the day your body would actually start to go into starvation mode even though you got your daily reccommended amount of calories. Eat small meals throughout the day.

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
