Possibly because the media and society has taught young girls not only that they have to look like a super model or barbie but that they must dress like little tarts. Have you seen the clothes they sell 10 and 12 year old girls.

Gosh I never noticed that! I thought women covered themselves from head to foot because they thought they were so devastatingly attractive that men wouldn't be able to resist them - or their own bestial nature. Or they thought they were so ugly they'd offend God himself if they showed their face. Or maybe that's only in some places and not in others. The women I knew thought they were most beautiful in floating, filmy gear, like the seven veils - and I agreed with them, at least until they took their clothes off and revealed even more beauty, of body and heart. After all, as Khayam says, "Did the hand of the potter shake?"

Are you crazy? Clothes off? Tight clothing? Are you in the right section? You are not preaching to the choir on this board. We are fairly conservative in our dress for the most part..Might have to reign in the teens once in a while.
Now those liberal, atheist Democrats, may be the ones you need to preach too. Did you see the cleavage on Hillary Clinton the other day? I like her, no really, but she should be told that once you are wearing a 38 long,,,you might need to cover up a bit.

I do agree with you about inner beauty but for one not all woman think that they are only beautiful with cloths off or in tight clothing, most of use just want to hear we look nice in no matter what we wear.

There are two types of women AND there are two typed of men. There are genuine Christian men and women who truly follow the laws and precepts of Scripture and then there are secular men and women who love the world and follow its abondonment of God. The secular men and women of today are no different than those before the great flood when Noah built the Ark because God deemed his family the only ones that believed in him and obeyed him, or those in Soddom and Gamorrah and they all got destroyed in the end by God's fire when it burned their cities to the ground, except Lot and his family who were led out by the Angel of the Lord before the fire came down. Well, the secular men and women of today will also be accountable to God for what they do on this earth. But the fire that will destroy them this time will be an eternal one. So rephrase your question to read "Why do some women only think..." or "Why do secular women only think..." and the answer will be "to attract secular or worldly men who have no love for God" just like Soddom and Gamorrah.

I have beauty in my heart, mind, AND body, thanks very much. I will dress any which way I please, because a GOOD man isn't so shallow as to care. Besides, why on earth do men think that we dress only for them? Honestly, what men will think is the last thing on my mind when I'm choosing what to wear. I wear what I like, and poo on everyone else's opinion.

Obviously not all women think believe that. But we can still appreciate physical beauty and there's a time and a place for revealing clothing.

The woman is being used as a curse to Godly men. Read Numbers 22-25, then read Rev. 2:14 to understand how Balaam taught Balak to curse Israel. Then there is the Jezebel spirit of some women.....
This goes back to Torah as well....

Because of the media. All the women on television & movies are stick thin and dress ultra sexy and they get all sorts of men. Most women have issues with their self-image and so they see how women are portrayed & try to live up to the standards. It's very exhausting because women have such high standards that they put upon theirselves everyday.
