THE Problem is my job is shift work,some shifts start 05.00am where others finish 12.55am-so i want to know how i can go to the gym around this,another problem is eating,im now eating funny times at my breaks and i know to build muscle you need protein,pasta,meat-what should i do anyone know???

p.s im not gonna do steroids or any american protein powder-im in London!

Well to build muscle its best to have as many meals as you can in a day 6-9 is best this means you eat every 2-3 hours you need protein in every meal .

You need minimum 1 gram of protein per a pound of bodyweight .

You need 500 plus calories more than maintanance level to give you enougth calories to create a surpless to build muscle you will gain some fat its inevitable you cant do two things at one like build muscle and lose fat , you loose the fat later .

If you use this formula you will get enougth calories .

30 x bodyweight in pounds = calories to gain muscle .

The most importantthing is is you are consistant or you will not get results this is of vital importance .

only eat high quality foods examples.

carbohydrate sources

pasta
potato
rice
wholemeal bread
vegys
musli

protein sources

tuna / fish
chicken
eggs ( best source )
red meat
dairy
protein powder ( your just as good as mixing egg powder with milk )

And you have to also train right i will give you some web sites with good programs etc .

also buy some magazines like flex etc but remember if the pros reccomend like 20 sets per a bodypart change it to less just dont copy their routines they have being training for years and also steroids help recovery so they can get away with it.

I agree with other answers.Let's enjoy to follow your dream.
I want to say a bit..
You should't take any steroids.
If we want to live long healthily. we stop taking any steroids.
We can get the protein from any food and also protein products
Feelings that is you want to do exercise are important
.However ,if you get tired a lot,you need to get some rest
It is a signal for which you need a respite.
I hope we can be hunk!

doesn't matter what shift you work just eat every 3-4 hours just like any other day
