My daughter's middle name was printed incorrectly in her US passport, different from the middle name in her driver's license (the first and last names are correct). Will this be a problem? Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't pose any major problem really. Passports are needed mainly for international travels and in most cases as long as the name in her airline ticket (which is usually just her first and last names) is the same as that in her passport, then she's gonna be alright.

If the impending travel is not gonna happen soon, I strongly suggest you re-submit her passport and ask for the second name to be corrected. This should be a free service.

Because the US passport is considered "sacred", there should be no problem since the passposrt will be sufficient as a document, all by itself, should anyone ask for a document from her.

I'd sent it back in and asked for a new one. Something like that happened to me and they sent me a new one right away.
