I'm not sure about all cancers but I do know that most kinds have their own web page with community groups for both patients and family. Like I said, I'm not sure about all of them but I do know one of the breast cancer web sites has that. Even where you can call the people to speak to them.
Sorry but I don't have the address because I just erased and reformatted my computer, so no web history at this moment.
I would try googling the exact cancer your family member has.
They probably have many websites and communities to choose from.

Contact the American Cancer Society. Also some clinics that provide cancer treatment often run groups for patients and families.

The local chapter of the American Cancer Society can help you locate those. also, most cancer treatment centers have support groups.

Try your local cancer society office. They should be aware of local groups. Your local hospitals oncology department will probably know as well
