Is Mohammed a prophet like Moses or is Jesus ?
“And the Lord said unto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken, I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.“ (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

Who are the ''brethren'' of the Israelis ??

The answer is given in the bible itself in Gen. 16:12 & Gen. 25:18:

11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
Ishmael

12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Gen 25:17 And these [are] the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

Gen 25:18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that [is] before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: [and] he died in the presence of all his brethren.

This verse clearly says that the Ismaelites are brothers of the Israelis. Prophet Mohammed was an a descendant of Prophet Isiah. Now EVEN more proof:

10And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

So basically God is saying that since then, no prophet has arisen in Isreal Like prophet Moses, and we know that prophet Jesus rose IN Israel, so it cannot be him. Correct? C'mon prove me wrong.

Men, this is an easy answer....
I have already answered that heaps of time based on what Jews-for Judaism said about the criteria of being a prophet like unto Moses, he must not be of Israel and this refutes taht jesus is that prophet like unto Moses. Let me copy and paste it again. lol...

Well let's read waht the website called Jews-for Judaism have to say about the prophecy on the prophet like unto Moses.Read what the website called "Jews-for-judaism" wrote about Deuteronomy 18:18.

Now let's make it more controversial and a devils advoctae,
I want to quote what the jews-for-judaism wrote in an article passage concerning Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18 in order to refute the claim of the christians, without realising they (the jews) are refuting the christians claim for Jesus and at the same time, they are making Muhammad S.A.W. fit nicely in the prophecy. let's look at what a rabbi have to write about it :

Missionaries claim that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of being a prophet
like Moses.
G-d says in the Bible (Deuteronomy 18:18), “I will raise them up a prophet among their BRETHERN, like unto you (Moses).” What this verse means in context is that any prophet must be similar in qualifications to Moses, i.e. Jewish, a scholar, righteous, and of the highest personal character.
But John (1:45) and the book of Acts (3:22, 7:37) take this quote out ofcontext, claiming that this verse refers to Jesus, and gives him the right to contradict the Torah of Moses.
However, this is an obvious distortion, since the Bible openly states that there would never be another prophet like Moses (Deuteronomy 34:10), “AND THERE SHALL NOT ARISE A PROPHET IN ISRAEL lIKE UNTO MOSES.” (The Real messiah : Jewish response to Christian Missionary, Page 34)

You see Balsam, from the opinion of the Jewish people, they
said the prophet like unto Moses must not be from isarel.
The Christian says that it is Jesus because he is an Israelite, brotehr of Moses. But however Balsam, u read carefully what the counter missionary Jews-for-Judaism quote from Deuteronomy chapter 34:10 "and There shall not arise a prophet in ISRAEL like unto Moses" .

So If there is no other prophet like unto moses in israel, where else can we find a prophet similar to Moses according to Deuteronomy 18:18? Something smells fishy here.

Can we find this "prophet" in the anglo saxon race ? the chinese ? The Indians ? the moabites ? nay, have they forgotten or not at their closest relative which is the ishamelites ?? where God promise them to be a great nation ?? Now since the prophet in Dueteronomy 18:18 can't be an Israelite since it is abbrogated by Deuteronomy 30:40, we must turn to the other close relative to the Israelites which is the Ishmaelite... So that leaves no doubt that the prophet like unto Moses is Muhammad S.A.W., not jesus . yes, I respect jesus as a prophet and a Messiah, but he don't fit that prophecy in Deueteronomy.

By the way, Muhammad S.A.W. is like Moses, die a natural death.

Like Moses A.S. who lead his people out Egypt in the Exodus to the land of Midian, Muhammad S.A.W. lead his persecuted people through Hijrah to Medinah.

Like Moses who give the law to the people concerning the fasting day of Yom Kippur, muhammad S.A.W. substitute it with the fast on the month of Ramadhan.

So, the conclusion is, Muhammad is indeed the prophet like unto Moses based on the clear evidence and arguement.

And this refutes the Christian claim that jesus is that prophet because there will be no prophet in israel like unto Moses.

And as for the Jews , if they don't believe that it was Muhammad S.A.W. who is like unto Moses, then they have to wait for that prophet like unto Moses which is not of israel, probably to their closest relative and yet from their bitterist enemy, the descedant of Esau or another prophet from Ishmael and he must be JEWISH according to them. I still don't understand what the Jews define something as JEWISH and what Jews define something as ISRAELITES.

As for the Mormons who believe it was Jospeh Smith because he is the descendant of Joseph and Abraham, again Jospeh Smith is disqualified because he is of Israel. the jews want a Non-Israelites Jew to become that prophet like unto Moses, but we muslims all know that all prophet preaches Islam and they are all muslims. That means that the prophet must be a non-jew who is a muslim, the one who submits to God, and who is that person, Rasulullah S.A.W.

So it is up to them to decide. there i no compulsion in religion, truth stands clear from falsehood.

Oh! You missed the next verse in Deuteronomy!!!!!!!

20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."

Such is Mohammed! Who lied about Jesus! I guess if you are going to use the Bible, you need to pay more attention!!!!!!!

And as far as Ishmael, how do you think that being 'a wild man' is a good thing? What's wrong with you? And 'every man's hand against him' is a good thing? Where do you get your brains?!

Jesus was a prophet from their brethren! What about him? Was he not a Jew? What's wrong with you?

You may hate my answer, but this scripture really refers to Joseph Smith. The prophet who opened this dispensation with the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a prophet much like unto Moses (which you speak of in Gen. 16: 11-12) and Jesus Christ.

What does he death of Ishmael in Genesis 25:17 have to do with raising a prophet as spoken of in Deut. 18:17-18? No scriptural connection whatsoever. All you are doing is isolating versus and translating it into what you want it to say.

I could cross reference your script. in Deut. assuring you that Joseph Smith is the prophet spoken of thousands of years before he existed. Joseph Smith is a descendant of Abraham and Joseph who was sold into Egypt. He comes from the exact lineage....and that my dear is the reference to the word 'brethren' as versed in this scripture and nothing else.

Jesus was not a prophet. He is the only begotten son of God himself. As to whether or not Mohammed was a prophet of God or simply a self proclaimed prophet to further his own agenda I can not say for sure. I do know however that many of the things he did were considered sinful by the men and women of Israel. I sincerely doubt that God would choose someone to be his prophet when that person was unwilling to live by God's own standards set forth to Moses.

Isaac, not Ishmael.

It’s the cornerstone of Islam. Why? Because when Islam was cobbled together from different tribal religions, it had to find some sort of "Biblical" justification, to fool people like you.

So while they were making up things, they made up this connection.

Judaism had existed for thousands of years, and Christianity for nearly 600 years before someone decided all of these scriptures applied to Ishmael, rather than Isaac.

But don’t let little things like facts spoil your ravings.

God promised His people to be the decedents of Isaac. Although Ishmael was Abraham's son, he was Abraham's son illegitimately. God wanted Abraham to wait until God's appointed time for his wife Sarah to give birth, not Sarah's maidservant. The decedents of Abraham' and Sarah's children would bring forth the Christ.

You need to sit back and re-read your question.
Where do you get the idea that Jesus was not an Israelite?
How could Jesus not be from among the brethren?
Seriously, no offense, but you really need to re-read your question. Maybe you left something out...

u r rit. There r so many prophesies that no space here, Please read this also:

4.4) Second Prophesy – An Ignorant Nations Will Become Guide: They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God;
They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.
But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation;
I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.
(Bible: Deuteronomy, 32: 21)

Here 'foolish nation' means Arab before the advent of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). They were totally ignorant from any type of knowledge. They were worshipping idols. And Jews believed them a very bad and humiliated nation as they were sons of Abraham (peace be upon him) from a bond-maid named Hagar. Quran Sura Al-Jamu'a:
2 "It is He Who has raised among the unlettered people a Rasool of their own, who recites to them His revelations, purifies them, and teaches them the Book and Wisdom, though prior to this they were in gross error,
3 he is also sent for others of them who have not yet joined them (become Muslims). He is the Mighty, the Wise.
4 That is the grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom pleases. Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.
5 The example of those who were charged with the Taurat, but failed to carry out their obligations, is that of a donkey who is carrying books and does not know what is in those books. Bad is the example of those who deny the revelations of Allah. Allah does not guide the wrongdoers.

Here the ignorant nation does not mean Greek people. Who are inventors of many new branches of knowledge. And three hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) we see Socrates, Pythagoras, Plato, Aristotle, Archimedes, Euclid, Gallon and many others great scholars. And even if we think about the religious knowledge they were having translations of all Old Testament books 386 years before the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him).

4.5) Third Prophesy – The Message of God Will Come At MountParan : And he said:
"The Lord came from Sinai,
And dawned on them from Seir;
He shone forth from Mount Paran,
And He came with ten thousands of saints
From His right hand
Came a fiery law for them. (Bible: Deuteronomy, 33: 2)

Here it is very clear that 'Lord came from Siani means that He gave Torat to Moses (peace be upon him). 'And dawned on them from Seir means gave Injeel to Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Seir is a mountain in Syria and nowadays it is called Jabal AlKhalil where Jesus (peace be upon him) was often praying and there is still a town name seir (or Shaeer).

And Paran is clearly indication about giving Quran. Even though the word 'Paran' is a clear indication, but Jews and Christians have tried to give different details for Paran
1) Paran is Jerusalem
2) The plain between Qadas to Sinai which has extended to Cannan in North, in West to Egypt And in East up to sheer Mountain. It has many valleys Soar, Sinai and Sun etc. see Biblical Map by John Sterling.
3) Qadas is paran.
4) Paran is the valley present on Northern side of Sinai.

Firstly, if Paran means Jerusalem then it is telling about Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). While we see Seir telling about him and there is no need to repeat the same thing. And Paran has meaning of, desert or wildernesses and contrarily Jerusalem is a city with surrounding fertile lands.

Secondly how it means the plains near Sinai, while Moses (peace be upon him) has already mentioned by Sinai and we see there is no need to inform same thing two times in the same sentence. And Bible tells that it is a different place than the desert of Sinai.
"And the children of Israel set out the Wilderness of Sinai on their journeys; then the cloud settled down in the wilderness of Paran" (Bible: Numbers 10:12)
"and the Horites in their mountains of Seir, as far as El Paran, which is by the wilderness." (Bible: Genesis 14:6)

Similarly many other references are telling that Paran is a different place from Sinai.

Thirdly that Qadas (Kadesh) is Paran, we will refer to Bible which clearly tell that it is a different place.

"and the Horites in their mountains of Seir, as far as El Paran, which is by the wilderness."
Then that turned back and came to En Mishpat (that is, Kadesh), and attacked all the country of Amalekites, and also the Amorites who dwelt in Hazenon Tamar. (Bible: Genesis 14:6-7)

Fourthly some geologists believe that Paran was a desert near Sinai but we have to make search that which Paran is mentioned here. Christian scholars believe that this paran is same where Hagar and her son took residence.

So God was with the lad; and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. He dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt.(Bible: Genesis 21:20-21)

And it agreed by the entire world that he settled in Hijaz. And it is mentioned in the book of Apocrypha named Barouche 3:23 mentions that sons of Hagar were living in Teman (old name for Yemen) start of which was adjacent to Hijaz during the times of Barouche (peace be upon him). And at that time the sons of Hagar were so increased in number; that they were staying (bedoins' wandering life in deserts) up till Yemen.

So it becomes clear that Paran is Hijaz. And Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) is the only messenger who entered with ten thousand selected people in Makkah on the day of its conquest. And also this ten thousand pious people have never reported during the life of Moses (peace be upon him) and Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) or any other religious leader.

4.6) Fourth Prophesy – Blessing On Isma'el and His Twelve Sons:
"And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.(Bible: Genesis, 17: 20)
Here twelve princes are twelve sons of Ishmael (peace be upon him). But the great nation is directly pointing to the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) because there is no one among the generation of Ishmael (peace be upon him) who has a great nation. Quran has also mentioned the prayer of both Abraham (peace be upon him) and Ishmael (peace be upon him) about this great nation.
