Honestly, yes. It's a stress reliever. But the negative effects greatly outweigh that.

I dont believe there are too many positive health benefits except the immediate gratification of relieving stress. Possibly, smoking can make your lungs a little tougher so you become a little more immune to environmental smoke. Socially, smoking becomes a sort of ritual with some people and gives you a small bond with other people that you may not have otherwise. Even though you're not doing the most positive thing with other people while smoking with them, it still feels good to socialize in this manner.

Yes it does. A little nicotine (i repeat.. a little.. too much is bad) can be good for you. It's known to help you move properly if you have constipation. Also, helps improve memory. Less risk of having parkinson's etc. Check out the site i've attached here. It talks about both the positive and the negative. Negative benefits outweight the positive ones tho.

none, but if it does have any, it would still be not a good enough reason to smoke becuase it causes a lot of health problems.

No, I don't think so. If there were any benefits though, they would definitely be outweighed by the damage and drawbacks of smoking.

Yes, most definately. Actually its more of an indirect benifit. You see, when I run out of cigarettes, people eventually figure out that I'll loosten my grip on their throat if they just give me one of theirs. The subsequent onrush of air forces out all the pollutants in their lungs from being outside sucking up the city smog while enjoying a refreshing smoke.
Glad I help clear up this matter for you.

I can think of only one: it keeps away the sick. They don't want to get any worse than they are, thus saving you from contracting what they have.Tahhhdaahhhh! That's all folks! OH! And smoking also kills those nasty taste buds on your tongue. Who wants to taste their food anyways?
