You see none of us choose our end really. A King may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, Your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before god you cannot say "but i was told by others to do thus, or virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice.

Since the notion of a soul is fiction, so is the quote.

"However, Muslims are as quick as Atheists to discredit the Bible as full of contradictions and written by men. And vice versa." And vice versa? Can you find an instance where this happens? One of the most profound truths that Muslims will always tell you is that there are literally no contradictions in the Quran. That is one of the many reasons we consider it from God, and the truth. If God is perfect, his message is perfect. It's that simple. If you find a mistake/error/illogical statement/something that can be refuted in the Quran - then that means whoever made it is not perfect. I'm actually very glad to see someone ask this question. You definitely should keep talking to your Muslim friend, but I don't see how you left thinking the Quran is like the Bible. Similar messages yes, but one just can't be written by Man. There's a lot more to it, science mentioned in the Quran is also a big one, but you can just look that up. Good question though :)

I think it is not true.God decided our fortunes and fate in predestination before we are born.God decided also our
spouse, livelihood and when we will die.But all of us do not know it exactlySo we should work hard to live happily by complying to our God's rules. as stated in the holy book.We should responsible to our God all of what have been done in this world. We can not ask other for saving our soul..By God's virtue we should search our livelihood but we must know that we can propose but God will dispose it.

I can say for certainty I follow it.
Scriptures are testimony not the unfailing truth of God.
To know God is to experience God, not hearing about God, but experiencing God first hand, by doing so one becomes their own testimony.
