If I understand your question correctly, no. One of their personalities can be dormant while another personality takes over, but it's not like two physical people, it's two "mental" people. Usually when someone with DID(dissociative identity disorder) feel that the situation that they encounter is too overwhelming, that's when another personality comes into play because this personality could handle the situation better.

Unlikely. However, as the core personality sleeps, sometimes one of the alters will do some "sleep walking" that the others are unaware of.
What I have witnessed,is that the alters are less developed and have less endurance to sustain "being out" for long hours. It would be unlikely that the alter would be "up" all night.

generally with this disorder sleep patterns are broken up and sleep is disrupted. But yes an alter can be the strong one while sleeping,or napping. As for the others sleeping they are not all there at the same time. They switch in and out so, no they don't sleep they dissociate.

actual there became a television coach that had some thing very resembling this in the storyline...my very own Worst Enemy with Christian Slater. I comprehend it is thoroughly fictitious, however the character became aggravated that his spouse appeared to desire his regulate-ego and that i will see how which could take place in a real case of MPD.

doubt it

as no matter if he has this problem, or not he is still awake and he will become tired (his body just sees him as one person)
