I've looked up a ton of different things but nothing seems right. I crave ice and blood (I'm not kidding. I'm starting to feel like a vampire or something.) and I can never hold still. I've had sleeping problems and lately have been having nosebleeds. I get musle spazms a lot as well, by the way. WTF? What is wrong with me?

If you are craving blood then you may have an iron deficiency. The ice could just mean that you are dehydrated. Go to your Dr and ask for an FBC (full blood count) to test for you iron levels. In the meantime ,just have some medium rare steak to fulfil your blood craving, or try some Black Pudding. It is pig's blood.

Also, having nose-bleeds can indicate either iron deficiency or a much more sinister case. Then again, it could just be the weather. Don't worry too much or the nose-bleeds will only worsen.

Get to the Dr and ask them as they are the only ones whom can diagnose you. Any information that you receive on here should be used as a guide only. Write down all the questions you want to ask your Dr so you don't forget anything. Good luck and I hope you have a great day/night!!!

Cravings are just your body's way of telling you you're missing something. As the others have said, maybe potassium (muscle spasms) or iron (ice and blood). My suggestion is to get either a good multivitamin/mineral supplement or even over the counter prenatal vitamins to give your body a boost. Geritol Complete is really good, too. Drink lots of water with them to help with absorbtion.

And as far as the restlessness and insomnia, do you drink a lot of caffeinated drinks? Try to cut back, if not eliminate, that and you'll settle down.

No matter what, you need to talk to your doctor about it. Good luck!

Blessings

Muscle spasms could indicate you are low on either salt of potassium. The blood maybe you are low on Iron.

When I was pregnant I craved store bought ice. But that may be unrelated to you. It could be the minerals in your water or your dehydrated.

I would recommend you see a doctor.

Ice crunching is a sign of low iron. Blood also contains iron. I would say that you could be anemic.

You probably have anemia - go to the doctor.
