The words of all holy books...whether it be the Bible, the Coran (probably spelled wrong) or some other religious text were written by men at the inspiration of God. That does not mean that every word is the specific words that God said...nor does it mean necessarily that every event was something God told them to write about. I believe God made contact with men right from the very beginnings and it may have even been man's idea to eventually put it in writting. I know God makes contact because I have experienced it for myself, but he has never told me to write anything down. In fact, his direction has only regarded my own life and what I should or should not do.

No one living today can be sure what God actually said or did...as we were not there...but I think those that believe have a pretty good handle on who and what God is and is not.

It was not part of HIS great plan that HE write HIS own book. We are to live by faith. If HE wrote HIS own book, What faith would it take to know HE exists? Instead, HE sent HIS spirit and also HIS Son, to inspire men to write HIS book. You think in the ways of the natural man. If you want to learn the ways of GOD then you must put away the natural man and learn from GOD.

Technically he did write his own book. He did it through people on earth.

He did, the Bible was written by prophets who wrote only what the Holy Spirit led then to write. In the Old Testament He wrote the Ten Commandments "with His own finger."

He did... its the bible... God told people what to write in it... Its like when an author dictates to a typer what to type. The author is the one who wrote it, the typer was just a tool. In the same way, its Gods book, the people who wrote what God told them were just tools.
