all he does is explainable from a human point of view (not almighty or eternal), he wants, he loves, he needs, he sends, he forgives, he punishes, he rewards...if everything god does is human why do we have to conclude that god is a god and not a human???
the he creates us to his image is just about the physical aspect (just in case some of you wants to use it as a "reason")

If God cannot want and love, how can He be Almighty? Doesn’t being almighty mean that He can do anything?

We see God expressing Himself in human terms in the Bible not for His sake, but for ours. “…all he does is explainable from a human point of view (not almighty or eternal)”. If God expressed Himself to us in almighty terms, we could never understand Him. He breaks it down into human terms so that WE can understand Him, and so that WE can know Him. God does this for OUR sake because He loves us. Afterall, love is actually not a human activity, but a Godly activity. Love comes from Him and IS Him. We were created by and because of love. So then, when we speak of love, we speak of God.

Jehovah is the name of God, God is like a title, when you call on the name of Jehovah God (psalm ch8) you are in prayer. No one knows for sure how to pro nounce Gods name but Jehovah is the English spelling.

Jehovah God is a spirit, never has been human, not a he or a she. Now Jehovah's son Jesus was a spirit, became human/spirit and at his Resurrection became a spirit again, the only human to do so.

The reason Jehovah sounds like a human is because God made us in the image of God. Not the physical image but the personal image with the capacity to love. Something which Jesus said is our new commandant, Love thy neighbor.

because Christianity's God is measured according to the Bible. And the Bible (every bit of it) was written by a bunch of humans.

Guess what? All religions are like that!

Why do you think the Ancient Greek pantheon was made up of jealous, angry, spiteful, and caring gods and goddesses? Because they were there to give humanity a way to connect with the various aspects and phenomena of nature.

That is why, in another millenia or two (if we even manage to last that long) Christianity might very well be considered mythology as well.

who knoweth what the future holds?

What do you believe? Sounds like you would like to challenge God's existence. You had better start fearing God before it's too late. If you feared God you would not use the "little g" when spelling God. "Little g" gods are the non living idols and other "images" that are not real living beings at all. If you do fear God and just don't want to admit it, well at least that's a start, start going to Sunday School or Bible Study. Things will start clearing up for you soon if you will.

If God were to present Himself in another manner, a manner that is beyond our understanding, how would you understand it? How would you be able to know His meaning? It's like this: If a person doesn't understand Chinese, can't read, write, or comprehend Chinese, what good would it do to give that person direction, information, etc. in the Chinese language. God did take on human form to talk to us too. Jesus. God answers prayer, God might be talking to us through nature too. Look around, what do you see? Did you see the movie Forrest Gump? If so--Remember when the ship captain (Gary Senies, I think...spelling?) was angry with God, standing up on one of the sails, pointing his fist in the air and yelling at God, asking where He was. Forest then says something like "then God showed up" A storm blue up...they found out where God was.

When he created us in his image it doesn't mean physical, it means in his likeness of the qualities he posses. He has to explain things to us on a human level because we would never understand things if he were to use his awsome power and thinking on a spiritual level as a spirit being.

He lets us know what kind of a GOD he is by posesing the fruitages of the spirit which he wants all humans to cultivate found at
Galatians 5:22 - 25.

Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

So one mintue God's behavior is inhuman because God supposedly does evil things to people no human would do, then the next minute he's too human. Which one is it? Will Atheists ever decide? A lot of people think God acts human because man made him up, but maybe God acts and is a lot like humans because God made us up.

The Bible is used as a reference for Christians. God isn't acting like a person by rewarding, loving, sending, punishing, and wanting. That is just how we as humans perceive it.

We humans were created in His image with such qualities as love, kindness, etc. So we display some of his attributes. believe me we are far from how God really is and we will never reach His supremacy. His thoughts are beyond our thoughts.
