It is inevitable that you live with them. But the fact is do you live with them making healthy or unhealthy choices after they have happened. Some just don't learn and find themselves commiting the same effort to the same problem, insanity. Others look to those who have come out the other side with some wisdom and find out answers they might not have come to or they have truly learned from them and share thier knowledge.

There's no alternative. I must live with them. Every life has its share of tragedy and sorrow. I'm not happy with everything I've done or everything that has happened to me, but I know that I have fared far better than many others.

Excellent Question!

Yes! I am able to live, and live content and fulfilled, regardless of what goes on around me or what happens to me. My joy is not based on circumstances.

Just so you know, I have endured much...loss of close family, disease of loved ones, loss of ministry, betrayal by friends. Each of these would have devastated me had I not had the strength of Someone greater than I.

i try. even if they were bad, they made me who i am. i cant imagine me a different way, and i like me right now, so why would i want to pretend they didnt happen?

bad things have happened
i've done bad things
but then again good things have happened
i've done good things
....

basically, if the bad things had never happened, i think i wouldnt have enjoyed the good as much.

good is only good until you've seen awful. then good is great.

Absolutely, because they have made me the person I am today and I am very happy with that person. I wouldn't change a thing.

I still have nightmares about things I had to do while serving my country, 17 to be exact. I deal with them and move on.

Most of them yes, some of them no. If it were most of them, I'd either be a terrible or very unhappy human being.
