Both things were terrible! the death of President Faust is very very sad and all these people caught in the mine is a real catastrophe, I hope they can be rescued and taken home safely. But none of these were discussed in church. But yesterday (Saturday) at a church activity in a park, we were talking about that.

Faust was mentioned today, the miners were not. That's because Faust is news in the whole Church, the miners are only news in Utah, and by extension, the United States. Since, like most Mormons, we are nowhere near Utah, the local news there doesn't really reach us.

I don't think either one was discussed today (if you mean in church) and I personally didn't talk about either one today.
I think I get your point. Thank you. I was very busy today with other people but I should have followed a story that was important to me. I just realized that I don't know any further news regarding the mining thing.
Thanks! lol...don't I feel like a jerk...

The miners. Mind you, I do not attend church though. The local newspaper headlines (salt lake tribune) featured updates on the miners.
Sorry marcus.
