While some say heaven or hell does not exist, I wouldn't want to be them, they are both real, the answer lies in truth, truth that Christ died on a cross to pay for our sins, so that we have a way into his kingdom, he paved the way, the way to get there is to accept him as lord, confess, allow him to take over your heart, and believe, to get to hell is to live like God don't exist, therefore on judgment he well give eternity of God absence which to me is pure hell, so it boils down to what you will do at this moment accept god, or accept the consequences that there is no god and find out later there is

When you are born of God, born of His Spirit & cleansed by His blood, you are a new person. With the spiritual birth is everlasting life. This is the seal of the Holy Spirit. To be absent from this earthly body is to be present with the Lord (in heaven).
It is the assurance in your inner person that your are a child of God & can pray Abba, Father, 24/7 or to Jesus our Savior 24/7.

Reading the New Testament will give you a great idea.
Galatians 5 probably contains as good a description of a saved believer as any. It is one who is living by Gods holy spirit, with faith in Jesus. This person is one who is NOT controlled by the sinful nature.

Easy...Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior? Has your heart been changed as a result of your relationship with Him? (i.e. Is the Holy Spirit in you?)
