It says I'm supposed to remove the pins from either side of the watch band; after removing the extra links, I should be able to wear the watch comfortably. I've been having trouble, and any little bit of info on this helps, thanks.

It seems the pins are stuck in the links... I tried removing them using a push pin and nothing happened.

unhook it where you open it to put it on your wrist and unhook the next link just like that . I have a Fossil watch too and they are so easy to resize. There a couple of these links that you can unhook

Take it to a local watch shop and let them do it !
