Hey! I used to read Barbara Cartland romances all the time,and I loved them,until I got married and reality set in. :)

Dame Barbara Cartland has nothing to do with it. Do you honestly think that promoting the idea of love is a bad thing? I'm a Christian, and feel that love is a pretty good idea, myself. As Christians, we believe that Christ urges us to extend love toward others. I don't see anything wrong with that.
