There's not much that this Pseudo-Christian Personality cult does that surprises me anymore.
Fred Phelps is a VERY sick man. He is a disbarred lawyer who lives off of the money that his children make and has 9 out of 13 convinced that they will go to hell if they disagree with any of his viewpoints. Here is link to an expose of what it was like growing up as one of his children by one of his sons who ESCAPED from the abusive environment. It is very enlightening.

Pay no attention to them. They are full of hate and are completely misguided in their beliefs. The media only covers the most outlandish and horrible groups and beliefs of people who claim to be Christians. Happy things don't make the news.
Sadly, a lot of people in the general public are naive enough to believe that a church like this represents the beliefs and attitudes of the majority of Christians.

You'd have to live in a cave to not have heard of the WBC. Fred Phelps is a psychopath and an embarrassment to Christianity.

I've read a lot about them recently. They are a twisted bunch of individuals. I keep wondering if there are really people out there who believe that this is a "Christian" congregation.
