Sounds to me like you have an extended case of PMS, Premenstrual Syndrome. A lot of people have the same types of issues that you do so maybe knowing that you are not alone will make you feel better. In the meantime, go to a health food store or the health food department in your supermarket and look for a Homeopathic remedy for PMS. I can't give you absolute guarantees that it will work but it will cause no nasty side effects and it just might do you a world of good. Another thing. Wait until you get a lot older and have some HOT Flashes. Talk about getting mean and angry Oh sister. Being a woman ain't fun sometimes.

I think you've got it right. Don't blame your bad behavior on your period, and develop some self control and maturity. Imagine how it would be if you acted like that on the job. Go off on the wrong person and you're out of a job. Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

Personally, I think some PMS symptoms are purely psychological. Since you realize that you're being mean to people when you're on your period, maybe you should just think twice before you say stuff during that time, and remind yourself to try to be nice.

I'm like that too when I get mine. I spazz a lot and get mad more easily. If you're not like that all the time, then you should be fine. And if you made anyone angry, after when you realize how awful you've been acting, then just apologize and tell them it was because of this-and-this.
Don't worry too much. We all go through this.

Well it's actually pretty mature that you recognize your faults (which are temporary). You can try to avoid people for those few days. You can talk to your doctor about it and see what they suggest. You can try to recognize when you are over-reacting to something and excuse yourself from the situation until you cool off a bit, then return.
Good luck with this age-old problem.

Sometimes I do the same thing. Just remember the feelings you're feeling, all the anger and all that are just because of PMS, so just try to put them aside.Try to stay more by yourself when your on it.

You might want to see your doctor. You could have an hormone imbalance or a syndrome known as PMDD.
