I know all of you Christians take pride in your faith.

In that case, I assume that whatever criticism forced upon
you should not be a problem.

All the skeptism and rage in the atheist's questions should only make your faith stronger each time you can answer them.

If you are so confident in your faith, no matter how many absurd or logical questions should not rattle you.

But why then, do I see so many Christians getting angry and upset?

Why report one of my accounts (Max H) for asking many interesting and critical questions? I did not rave and swear on you Christians. Infact I had very subtle content.

Perhaps you Christians can't take criticism and don't have enough faith to withstand the questions hurled at you.

I don't think that having only Christians preaching to each other with no criticism for atheists would be all that amusing.

I think you need some criticism to work your brain cells a bit.

Don't be so hateful and angry, because I never was.

I just had a violation notice because I actually used one questioner's words in a previous answer to show what a hypocrite he really was. So we have a hypocritical, angry, "Christian" who can not even take having his own words quoted back to him. Maybe people should think twice before posting their angry, hate-filled attacks on other religions. They just might come back to haunt you.
BTW- most of the Christians I meet on here are very nice, but the small percentage of uber-angry fundamentalists really shows the religion of Christianity in a poor light.

The only people I have ever reported is the ones who had dirty pictures for there Avatar. One had a pediophile pic up. I don't get upset, but I do get hurt. May I ask this question. I have seen many say we have hateful answers, but I have yet to see one from us like that. I have even been on here more lately cause I cant sleep. Which I don't read ever answer either. If you have seen such answers from one who says they are saved, how do you know they are. Many will claim to be a Christian but they have never gotten saved. Matthew 7:21 shows this.

Good question and i have given this view many time.
I guess Christians are imperfect to and sometime the mouth is in gear but the brain is not running.
Some atheists say rude and insulting things at at times you can get defencive and not meaning to have a go at the intelligent atheists.
I am sure this happens on the other side of the coin too
As i said before thanks atheists for getting my brain going and researching the bible more closely

I have to examine my faith sometimes with the questions that I read. Some are very challenging, and then as I answer, my faith grows. Sometimes it takes some time to study. So as long as the question is asked respectfully, then bring them on. The asker as well as the answerer can both become better informed.

The door swings both ways. I get hassled plenty for speaking my mind, but I only know that's human frailty. People who get "born again" aren't instantly transformed into perfect beings, it takes time. They were used and abused by the world for X number of years before they came to Christ, so it is only fair that it should take just as long to undo the damage done.
You are right however in your determination that discussing our faith with non-believers is a good tool in building our own faith.
So, next time you see someone reacting "un-Christian", please treat them as you would want them to treat you.

possible reasons

1. anger is a human emotion and of course, everybody can be offended. ex: you with your accounts.

2. you use Christians too broadly. Christianity is perosnal and collective. each person develops differently but makes up part of the body. if a part is immature, it affects the body. if a part is rebellious, it affects the body. not everybody's that far ahead where they don't get very angry unless souls are in jeopardy. myself being one of them

3. hateful? I'm starting to think people think saying "you're rude" is a hateful comment.

Perhaps the responses you've been getting haven't been from true followers of Christ. I'm sure it has nothing to do with lacking the faith to "withstand the questions". We're not here to be amusing, we're (at least I am) here to spread the Truth.

I'd be more than happy to answer your questions.

This might answer why:

2 Timothy 2:23
But foolish an unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

that explains why some don't answer, why others just report. now those that get angry are either lost in faith or lack it. there is more to faith then just saying it, its a life style almost.

What's funny is that I don't even get upset. I actually would rather criticism than not saying anything at all. Saying nothing is, to me, "lukewarmness." It makes my faith stronger, knowing that the Holy Spirit is working where I cannot work..

Apparently you were upset or you wouldn't have brought it up. Again I ask you, what is a christian? People call themselves christian but don't know what it is. So I say if you can call someone a christian then you should be able to tell someone what is a christian.
