I'm starting to change my diet around by doing portion control, less junk food, more water and more fruit. I plan on getting a gym membership by the end of the month and my job requires a lot of walking. In order to achieve my weight loss goal by November, I would have to lose 1.6 lbs per week so I would like to know the best way to do that...thank you!

My dear, you should decide how many calories you want in your diet, and then I would recomend looking for items that are low calorie, but also low fat, but it all depends on what you are doing for your diet. The main thing for a diet to work is just to consume fewer calories than what you are burning, so lower calorie is best. But the thing about just lower calorie is that you don't want to get something that is lower calorie, but still has a ton of fat, and you don't want to get something that is low calorie but with a ton of sugar. Just look at the labels and you need to figure out what fits into YOUR diet.

you're doing great! keep up the good work! but make sure you are doing plenty of cardio, you may want to do cardio 3 or 4 times a week and do strength training the remaining days. if you don't do cardio, you will never burn off the fat and you will only be putting layers of muscle ON TOP of the fat. running or walking is a great way to lose some fat and trim your body. but i would do weights 2-3 times a week. make sure you give yourself a break too, don't be too hard on yourself or you could go overboard. as for the food, make sure you drink plenty of water, eat tons of fruits and vegetables. try replacing a meal with a fruit smoothie or something. a good dinner might be a salad with grilled chicken or salman. tuna is also a low calorie, healthy option. also, some good snacks to have throughout the day are of course fruits and vegetables, granola bars, yogurt, trail mix. a light and sweet desert option could be some fruit, such as strawberries, with cool whip and/or chocolate. good luck!

Exercise daily , eliminate dairy and starch carbs ( bread pasta, white potatoes rice etc. Eat organic hemp seeds!
IM me for more info..
Hemp Hearts (shelled hemp seeds) are the best source of protein, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes on the Earth. Those who begin each day with at least four, but probably five, measuring tablespoons of Hemp Hearts, preferably with fruit and yogurt (vegetables for diabetics), will notice from the first day that they have sufficient energy for the entire day and they are not hungry again until mid-afternoon. Those who wish to lose weight can do so quickly and easily by restricting their total food consumption after breakfast each day to a large vegetable salad, eaten without significant dressing in the late afternoon.

Hemp Hearts:

Have more required amino acids - proteins than meat, eggs or milk.

Is a COMPLETE protein source - much more digestible balanced nutritionally than animal protein or soy.

Contains 47% oil, 86% of which is omega 3, 6,and 9.

Contain all the essential and amino fats required for human health.

Contains several times more essential omega fatty acids that fish, even salmon.

Provides more energy than energy bars.

Hemp Hearts do not contain significant amounts of sugar, starches or saturated fats: It is not a secret that sugar, starches and foods made with added fats are not essential for health and are detrimental to those with weight problems and diabetes. It is not so well understood that those who consume foods containing significant percentages of inferior nutrients, especially sugar, bread, potatoes, pasta and rice, are cheating themselves every meal of the proteins, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes that they should be consuming instead the "essential" nutrients that are necessary for maintaining or restoring health.

Eat fruits veggies and no sugar!Make sure you take a vitamin everyday and drink 8 glasses of water daily (not at once) and most of all jog for 25 minutes to get your aaerobic high then work out (lift weights,crunches,ect.).Do the actual toning (working out) every other day and the erobic every day.I'm sure that will get you to loose 1.5 pounds a week on your first week but on your second it will be 1.7 because your body will get used to the workout and stuff.Stretch too!Hope i helped.I'm doing the same and those were my results!!!

~Love Always~

On low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
