Yes, actually; the Shaker religion (tiny, historic protestant sect somewhere in northeast) does not believe that you should ever have sex. They exist by converting new members.

I just wanted to correct what the first answerer said. Buddhists do not believe that homosexuality is a retribution for anything. I am a Buddhist. I believe that homosexuals were born gay. I believe this because I know that I was born straight, I never decided to be straight. I feel the same must be true for homosexuals. Nothing in my Buddhist teachings has taught me that it is a sin. To answer the original question, no religions think that heterosexuality is a sin. Furthermore, The people who say the Bible says homosexuality is a sin are merely looking for a reason to justify their bigotry. If their church teaches hatred of any kind, they should seriously consider switching churches.

Question is why do so many religions think that any form of sex has to be a sin?

If it's not harmful to either party, responsibility is taken... why should it be a sin?

As with any other arsenal in humanity's hand, its not the product or weapon that is dangerous... it's the one holding/using the product/weapon that decides its benevolence and malevolence to others.

Its obvious that people in that era, Raped, Pillaged and Plundered so much that a Law had to be enacted in order to pacify it.

Are you retarded? Without Heterosexuality, humanity can't exist (except through sperm donors) so that seems like the dumbest religion of all time if it exists. There may be a few cults who are like that and are weird, but no religions as far as I am aware of
