I think Edwards just should have stayed close and settled for second place. And Gorden should should have kept his cool and won the race. That`s just my opinion.
Congratulations to all Tony Stewart fans!!!
NASCAR rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Edwards finished 9th. Stewart didn't run over anyone, Gordon spun himself out with the 20 car about 1/2 second behind. Edwards was trying to run down Stewart and had too much speed to make the last corner and wound up in the gravel but saved the car and still finished well. Gordon had the race won but I think he started looked in his rear view mirror too much.

Carl just wanted to take the scenic route, but he somehow got right back on the track only losing about 6 positions. Not sure what you mean by Tony obliterating either Jeff or Carl tho.If you mean was Tony able to keep it on the track better then them? Not really Tony just did his spinning early, all those guys looked like Kyle Busch today driving sideways more often then not, that was fun.

Edwards was just trying to hard to win. Stewart did not touch Gordon. Stewart was actually about 2 or 3 car lengths behind when Gordon spun. I think Gordon was just looking behind him to much and got scared of smoke. GO SMOKE 3 for 4

I know that Jeff Gordon had COTitis. The rear ends hop around on braking. Nothing was said about Carl Edwards.
I was there listening to a local broadcast after the race, not the national one, and the coverage is different.

Next time you answer my question, please do not call me a "dude" because I'm not a guy. Thanks.
Carl Edwards ran off the track into the gravel on that final lap, and Gordon spun around going into turn 1. Stewart got real lucky today.

If NASCAR would do some intense investigation into today's race, I'm sure they'd find that Tony Stewart's car was equipped with "James Bond"-style devices, one that fired quick-evaporating disappearing lubricant forward onto Gordon's tires, and one that spit from the rear onto Edwards's tires. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Yeah, he could have had a 2nd place finish, until he decided to run thru the kitty litter, could have really helped him in the points....great race Smoke..Win some more and we might have a great cup chase, someone has to tighten up this chase, don't need a cup blow out...I'd like to see 5 drivers within 50 points of each other going into the last few races..make it interesting, right now its like everyone is running for second place....Jeff you are great...I just want you to have some competition.. Yep, looking forward to next yr, Jeff, Jimmy, Jr and the other guy..oh yeah, casey mears..

He overdrove the car heading into turn 10 trying to catch Stewart. Either that or he got into some of the gravel that Ragan tossed all over the track.

They are team mates. There was one time that Matt hit Carl on the track, but it was next to impossible for these COT's to pass at Martinsville until the second groove came in later in the race. I'll bet Jack Roush isn't too happy that his top 2 drivers were pushing and shoving each other.
