follow these 10 steps:

1.Get calcium in your body. Drink milk or take calcium pills. To grow longer, your hair needs to be healthy. The calcium will strengthen it.

2.Go out in the sun. The sun provides your body with vitamin D. When you go out you will get the vitamin D and your body will use it on your nails, hair, etc. making them longer and thicker.

3.Do not style your hair everyday with harmful products and styling tools! This will only make your hair split, which will make it thinner and damaged. Then you will have to cut it again! Do not use hairspray! Hairspray basically burns your hair. If you do use gel, make sure it says something like heat protection, or moisturizer on the bottle. That way it is semi protecting your hair. You can get these products anywhere, and at a low cost! Go to Big Lots, Right Aid, Target, and many other stores.

4.Rehydrate your hair. Most likely its not growing because of heat damage. Go to places like Target, the Dollar store, or even rite aid and purchase hair lotion. At Target they have these pink bottles for two dollars that have lotion for your hair in them. You can put it in your hair in the morning and leave it on all day. It will strengthen your hair and make it thicker and longer. Another great product you can get it at rite aid. It's called Frizz - Ease critical care. You put it on in the shower, let it sit, and then rinse it off.

5.Wash your hair with de - frizz shampoos and conditioners. One product for example would be Garnier. By de -frizzing your hair it will get healthier, thus grow more!

6.Eat healthy. What you eat is what you are, so if you eat all fast food, let's just say your hair might not be pretty. From all the unnecessary fats the hair can become thinner and more prone to damage.

7.Trim your hair often. When I say trim I do not mean cut off an inch! I mean once a week or once a month take off an itsy bitsy bit of hair. Everyone has different types of hair so depending on your texture cut it at shorter or longer intervals.

8.Exercise. The healthier you are, the faster and thicker your hair will grow. If you swim, always wash your hair out afterwards, because chlorine dries your hair out so fast!

9.Loose the soda. Water and milk will make your hair happier, soda won't.

10.Go a few days without washing it. I know some of you have greasy hair so your thinking, no way! Well just leave it unwashed when your on vacation, camping, over the weekend, or leave it in a pony tail.
