ok for the person that said that sunday school involves a teacher and the other a preacher what's the difference between teacher and preacher. Also why would it be rude to raise your hand to ask a question during the sermon i'm sure everyone else would like to know both the question and the answer to it. Also how would you get to ask a question afterward if the whole church decided to ask the preacher at the same time

1- No. Contrary to popular belief Christians (preacher, Minister, Priest) are humans first and do not AUTOMATICALLY become holy. It is a spiritual journey for everyone and all are on different steps in the journey. Some of us are baby Christians taking baby steps, We fall down, God our father helps us up. Kisses our boo-boos and we start toddling around again. Just like any Dad. He is there for us.
2- No. It is customary to ask Questions AFTER the sermon. You might interfere with another persons salvation.
3- N/A
4- Regular church:: is where you WORSHIP God.
Sunday School is just that.... School of: learning the bible.

1. no. I always study afterwards.
2. I would never raise my hands in a service. If I have questions I would ask afterwards. If the pastor was prove wrong in something he preached then it would be his job to correct his saying to his congregation.
4. Sometimes there isn't much and sometimes there is a whole lot. Some preachers teach and some are like surgens. They get to the source and dont cut corners.

4. Sunday School has more interaction and is more of a systematic study, where church is more of a message needed at that time.

1. no he/she has to be able to back it up with Scripture and I must not be able to find Scriptures that clearly refute their point.
2. sermon? no. the Bible says to do it privately as not to embarrass them. usually I don't find something wrong with a message until later. usually if they've made a mistake, which is not often, thank God, they'll realize it. I have had questions in Friday Bible studies (mini service) though.
3. haha, no.
4. school vs lecture. in school, you're given homework and it's basically a class of the same age-group. church is more general and more in-depth. sunday school is more of the milk, church is more of the meat (OT meat, which can also be soy for you veg-heads out there).

2. nope. that would be rude. but i do take notes and if i have questions, i'll take it up with him after service. (good home training)

4. sunday school is bible lessons where it is appropriate to raise your hand and ask questions, just as if you were in school. regular church is a message that is delivered to the body - sort of like a key note address.
