There is no proof that any personal god, multi gods, after life, soul, sky fairies, angels from other planets, or any other such nonsense exists or has ever existed.

There is plenty of evidence that religion is cruel and has lead to the death of several billions over the course of human history and prehistory.

I have always believed in God. Why? How about the fact that what we need to breathe is the same stuff that plants expel, and plants need to breathe what we expel. Our planet is completely unique in the solar system, and it's placed exactly in the right place, tilting at exactly the right angle. There's the water cycle, symbiotic relationships in animals, the awesome power of the sea, the beauty of a sunset, Mozart, Monet, and Einstein. And, there's Jesus. His arrival on Earth and the preaching work fulfilled hundreds of prophecies, some of which were thousands of years old. Anyway, creation makes a lot more sense than some universal unthinking thing playing Frankenstein in the primordial ooze. Evolution is a theory, not to be confused with adaptation. It is still called a theory because it has not been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. What has been proven is that life cannot come from nothing.

There's zero evidence, but somehow I do hope/believe there's something "out there" that's beyond all human comprehension-- at this point, though, one can only speculate. Is it (a) God?

Either way, I'm quite convinced it's not the Abrahamic God.

Why? Well, Donald Morgan puts it eloquently:

"A thorough reading and understanding of the Bible is the surest path to atheism."

Now, I'm no atheist, but I'm also no theist. I'm a firm believer that at this point in "human progress", all we have is ancient texts (mythology/oral tradition/revelation), philosophy (reason/speculation), and science (empiricism) to guide us...

And thus far, none of the above seems to be enough to adequately prove NOR disprove the existence of "God".

Whatever that means.

Carry on.

Yes, I believe in God, but not only that, I am also faithful to God for all He has done in my life.

Besides, life is far too complex to come about-- or even to just keep going--on its own.

Yes there is a God. Just look around you. Creation itself is testimony to the fact that there has to be a creator. Even scientists attest to that!

Yes, because if you really think about it, how did the whole universe start, there is no other explanation besides God. Also, It is proven that people that go to church regularly, and pray to God, recover faster in the hospital than other patients, and are healthier. So, how can you not believe in God?
