I'm 18 and when I press in between my eyes, it makes a really weird clicking, squelching noise, and my ears hurt and throat hurt at the time. I went to an allergist and they did the scratch test on me, nothing came up, even the one that is supposed to! They said my skin doesn't react to it, so I had to have a blood test. Well I havn't gotten the results yet in the meantime, I am feeling horrible. It really bothers me when it happens, which is usually at night time. Even when someone is sitting near me, they can hear it themselves, so it's not in my head! Is there anything I can do to relieve this, and does this even sound like allergies? Thanks, everyone :)

What are you talking about, Dg? How does your answer relate to allergies at all? My IQ is 158, just so you know..

I have always had that noise when pressing between my eyes. Like to the sides of your bridge. I thought it was only because of air escaping my tear ducts kind of thing....still don't know for sure.

That happens to me but not often and it dosen't hurt too bad so I just leave it alone- but I do have allergies (I don't know to what either) If your doc finds the answer I'd love to know :)

hey, my eyes make that clicky noise too! always. it's like when I push on my tear ducts. idk why it does that, usually when I get head congestion, or when I lay down on one side at night. it's like... air in my tear ducts.

I have chronic sinusitis, maybe you have that. But I don't think the clicking has anything to do with your throat and ears hurting.

Where exactly do you press? I wanna try it to see if it happens to me or if it's just you.
