I’m planning to buy a Desktop unfortunately I’m not a computer expert so I really need some help please.
My question is that if I but a computer either from Circuit City, Best Buy or Fry’s what softwares are already include in the computer? Do I have to buy security software, office productivity software like Microsoft office Home & Student, Digital Media software etc?
I’m asking this because for Dell computers I need to buy all these softwares apparently MS Word is not include.

Please inform me
Thank you..

Unfortunately just about any new system you buy will come with a bunch of bullcrap trial versions of various software. As for Word or other such programs I would'nt worry too much because there are free downloads such as openoffice.org & so on that are very good & easy to use that do the exact same thing & are even compatible with whatever Word documents you may be working with now.

Take my advice and save yourself the hassle and go with a MAC computer. Why! well because deepening on what is is you are going to be doing, say for instance, videos, graphic designs, definitely MAC, but if you are just doing office stuff, like word etc, then PC is OK.

As long as your computer DOESNT have an Apple logo on it, you bought something useful.
