My Dog was playing with one outside by the pool and he has foam all over his mouth .

No,he should be fine.Just wash his mouth out with plain water and give him a few pieces of bread with a little milk to absorb any toxins.The really poisonous toads are in Florida and Australia,the huge Marine,or Cane toads.My cousin's Lab,Bo, licks toads all the time! He doesn't hurt them,but the toxin will give them a little buzz,so we think he is addicted to them!

Are you in South Africa,then? You are lucky to have leopard toads,as they are an endangered species.I hope the toad wasn't hurt.Here is a link to a site with a lot of information on them.

They are not poisonous they just release toxins from there skin that causes the dog to drool for and 2 hrs nonstop! The same thing happened to my dog he will be fine!
