Well contray to popular belief, work on the friendship. Trust me, that done right, never gets old, so much ground to cover. For one get her talking and relating honestly her past and her feelings about it, emphasise with her, try and understand her. Then talk more about science, politics, hobbies, read some books together, watch movies, but exchange your ideals and beliefs. Also talk about the future, your purpose in this life, and what you plan to do with each other. Really the best thing you guys can find and share is a PURPOSE, so get busy buddy, because love isn't always enough!
