I thought "Simon-Peter". When got here, I read the answers already given. Pretty good, and I'm not going to look up each. Logic STILL says "Simon-Peter".

traditionally speaking, Christians have led to extra dying and suffering for the period of the crusades and the inquisition. to no longer point out issues like the Salem Witch trials etc. additionally, traditionally speaking, the conquering Ottoman Empire allowed Christians and Jews to prepare their very own faith in peace. Non-muslims in basic terms needed to pay a tax. Jews, Christians and Muslims all lived peacefully jointly for hundreds of years below the guideline of the Ottoman Empire. It wasn't till the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 the place western powers arbitrarily divvyed up the vacuum left by ability of the fallen empire which you notice the strife this is happening interior the known-day center east.

I guess it would have to be the first 120 believers mentioned in Acts 1 or we see in Acts 11 that at Ephesus they were called Chrietians for the first time.

Acts 11:26
and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
From what I understand of history, the term "Christian" was coined by non-believers to mock them. It meant "little christ".

Adam was. An angel told him this:
" 5 And he gave unto them commandments, that they should worship the Lord their God, and should offer the firstlings of their flocks, for an offering unto the Lord. And Adam was obedient unto the commandments of the Lord.
6 And after many days an angel of the Lord appeared unto Adam, saying: Why dost thou offer sacrifices unto the Lord? And Adam said unto him: I know not, save the Lord commanded me.
7 And then the angel spake, saying: This thing is a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father, which is full of grace and truth.
8 Wherefore, thou shalt do all that thou doest in the name of the Son, and thou shalt repent and call upon God in the name of the Son forevermore."
I guess I shouldn't single out Adam - we can forget Eve...God saved the best creation for last (woman!)...
Adam and Eve were the first Christians on this Earth! :o)

On Earth - Jesus, perfect man and perfect Christian ;
On Earth and In Heaven At the same time simultaneously - God-in-Christ; Christ-in-Men(believers- Christ the Head, the Church His Body); Men (Believers)-InChrist-(Jesus' Spirit-The Holy Spirit)-In-God

Outside of Christ Himself it would have to be St. Peter. As the scripture goes, " Upon this rock(Peter) I will bulid my church.
